Realizing there was a niche in the market place for a good quality Wendy House with the service to back it up, Grant and Brett Louwrens started Wendy Lane in early 1997. They have been supplying wendy houses in and around Gauteng for 10 years.
They manufacture and build all their own products, anything from a dog kennel to a timber cabin. A list of standard sizes are available and they are able to custom make any size wendy house or dog kennel. All timber used is kiln dried and all cladding is tongue and groove. Standard cladding is 16mm thick with a flat profile. A 22mm log profile cladding is also available, which is slightly more expensive.
All wendies and tool sheds are fitted with a tongue and groove floor, the roof sheeting used is corrugated iron and windows are glazed cottage pane. Various sealants can be used to treat the exterior walls, from the basic sealant to a variety of colours in Gripseal and Rystix.
