ECHO FLOORS (PTY) LTD
Echo Floors (Pty) Ltd manufactures a 150mm deep precast reinforced hollow core floor / ceiling slab in panels 900mm wide. Lengths vary from 500 to 8200mm in 100mm increments. Slabs are individually designed to suit customer contracts and to carry the loads required. Slabs are cut to widths and shapes to suit building requirements

Echo Floors provide a complete service for the supply and installation of a Precast Hollow Core Reinforced Concrete Flooring System. The full in-house service offered by the company can include any or all of the following:

    * The design and manufacture of the hollow core flooring
    * Detailed layout drawings
    * Design and engineer's certification
    * Site measurement
    * Supply only of slabs ex factory
    * Full installation service - an in-house team delivers, erects and grouts the panels on site
    * Supply and installation of structural steel over openings (if necessary)

Echo Floors are suited to suspended ground floors (clay conditions), multi-storey buildings and concrete roofs.

Echo Prestress (Pty) Ltd manufactures a system of prestressed precast slip-formed hollow core concrete floor panels used for multi-storey buildings, produced to high standards of quality and technology set by 45 years of research and development at Echo. The Echo Prestress factory is designed to manufacture 60000 m² of precast hollow core floors per month, using the latest production techniques to reduce costs and improve plant efficiency, thereby offering clients the advantage of a good price and a quality product.

Echo Prestress is a system of prestressed slip formed hollow core concrete floor panels, used for multi-storey buildings, produced to the highest standards of quality and technology set by 50 years of research and development at Echo. For further quality assurance Echo Prestress is an ISO9002 accredited company and a member of the Concrete Manufacturers Association.

USAGE OF ECHO PRESTRESS

Echo Prestress is suitable for most types of multi-storey buildings e.g. townhouses, schools, industrial buildings, office blocks, flats, hostels, hotels, culvert covers, multi-storey car parks, shopping centers, suspended ground floor slabs in areas of clay heave and shrinkage.

Alternative uses:
• Security walling for prisons, airports, airforce bases or for any buildings with high security requirements.
• Used as walls to construct a building. This application is installed between structural columns – steel or concrete.
• Also ideal as retaining walls.
