Company History Founded in 2007, DGB Construction has operated exclusively in the Western Cape region offering quality construction services to both commercial and private clients. Company Structure and Staff The current staff compliment of the company is as follows: • 3 Site Managers • 30 Bricklayers • 25 Plasterers • 40 General Labourers All staff are employed by DGB construction, and work conducted by the company is not subcontracted to others companies. This approach ensures that factors such as quality, progress and cost are managed effectively and ensures a 1 “point-of-contact” approach during the course of any project. Site Managers are all experienced construction professionals who possess the required knowledge, skill and ability to manage performance on site relative to client requirements. Furthermore, DGB Construction places high priority on the education and safety of all its staff. To this end, Health and Safety training is conducted on each site where work is conducted to ensure the continued safeguarding of both staff and site visitors. Resources DGB Construction owns its own commercial vehicles and equipment. This greatly increases the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and reduces “time to readiness” on any project – regardless of size or location.
